Still-image cleanup
The image parser supports JPEG, PNG, WebP and TIFF/DNG containers. It checks the internal structure rather than trusting the extension. Some accepted files may lack a browser preview even though their metadata can be inspected.
Video-container cleanup
MP4 and MOV files can be checked for supported metadata. This is not a video converter: it does not transcode codecs, repair broken footage or remove a logo baked into frames. A complete parse is required for a verified output.
The size ceiling
Choose a file no larger than 200 MB. If you need a smaller export, create it in your editor and check that final version. The accepted formats and size here are independent of any social network’s upload specifications.
Metadata versus media content
Cleanup handles supported C2PA, XMP, EXIF and IPTC blocks. These may contain private details as well as AI source information. Image and video data are preserved without re-encoding, although metadata-dependent display settings can change.
After changing formats
Converting or editing an image can produce a new set of attached fields. Check the converted copy even if an earlier version was clear. Hold onto your master file and review the downloaded output before distributing it.
